Your car will be guaranteed to have a spread in any magazine because this option is definitely only for the wealthy. Getting this droptop onto your brand-new Camaro won’t be as easy as it looks in the picture however the group over at Viniati Camaros have teamed up with NCE to deliver these bad boys in the local an extended area of California Sacramento. Prices for the convertible will range between $16,000 and $20,000 depending on the pickup and drop-off locations. Local dealer options have been taken into consideration and they will be offering this to certain dealerships in the Sacramento region if you wish to get it done. Still not clear on exactly what the warranty is on it and how it will affect your warranty, but what we do know is that when this car leaves the lot it will be a jaw dropping event. For more information on purchasing or any information on NCE give them a call at 8888464284.

Our review on the item is only circumstantial because we have not enabled to physically hold one of these beasts in our hands, however we are working very closely to do so very soon. We would rate this conversion just by looks alone a 10 out of 10. We would still love to see how it functions on a everyday basis and can it withstand the wear and tear that a regular OEM convertible is able to. Knowing the warranty will be critical in our final assessment, so stay tuned because we will have it shortly. Other than that enjoy these beautiful pictures and let us know your comments.

2010 Camaro Exhaust Review Magnaflow

Here we are going to review the Magnaflow exhaust for the 2010 Chevy Camaro. Picture below

Magnaflow Exhaust

The 2010 Camaro is featuring some hearty breathing techniques right out of the box, however the minds over at Magnaflow have gone to the drawing board . The high powered exhaust is enough to produce huge gains in immediate horse power.

With the added bounce in throaty sound your new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro deserves right off the lot. But in this cost effective package you won’t have any trouble affording one. Let’s face it you can already afford a new Camaro in a recession, so what is an extra 500 bucks?

In all given the price and power gains we give this 2010 Camaro exhaust part an 8/10

Nissan Gt-R Eibach Pro Kit Springs R35 Skyline

When looking for new parts you might find that lowering your car is one of the safest ways to get an aggressive look. It’s even more impressive when you can achieve that aggressive look in an even more aggressive car in the Nissan GTR R-35. This amazing musclecar is extremely enjoyable because it is a huge price jump from the previous models of skylines however it doesn’t seem that the public cares about the $90,000 price tag that many of these cars are carrying! Those who are lucky enough to purchase one of these beautiful beasts might be inclined to keep it the way it is, however we know an age of mass production lots of metal and high tostesterone no one will keep this animal of a supercar safe from the hands of tuners.

Eibach Lowering Springs
Eibach Lowering Springs

the springs are just amazing because they can lower the weight of the Nissan skyline R35 up to 50 pounds! That will in turn create some noticeable gains in handling and power.

The Pro-Kit lowers the GTR 20mm in the front and 15mm in the rear while having an as good as OEM suspension feel.

Overall 8.0 out of 10

We feel that this kit will improve the overall center of gravity and stability if you feel it’s needed in this massive supercar. The kit that we have seems to be put together very well and overall we feel our major complaint would be the slight change where you will end up driving the car once these springs it on, and that will be the nearest track.

2009-2010 Nissan Skyline R35 Seibon Dry Carbon OEM Style Hood Air Duct

Today let us review the Seibon Nissan R-35 GTR OEM style hood air duct. We do have to say that these are some of the best Sibon parts that we have seen in a long time. These parts show no defects, and the weave is meticulously perfect. The carbon fiber hood air ducts that we have reviewed simply replace the ones that come on the Nissan GTR skyline from the factory. There is not really any major description to provide other than that. However being assembled the parts can be beautiful to the eye when applied to a particular painted hood, or simply being added to a carbon fiber hood for the GTR. We prefer these inserts on to the white Nissan GTR because it is such a beautiful contrast and adds a bit of pizzazz to the aggressive styling. Searching around we have found these similar products on the following websites: http://www.viniatiskyliner35.com, http://www.gtrblog.com/tag/carbon-fibre/, http://www.2009gtr.com/2009/01/axis-granted-r35-gt-r-super-street.html

2009-2010 Nissan Skyline R35 Seibon Dry Carbon OEM Style Hood Air Duct

2009-2010 Nissan Skyline R35 Seibon Dry Carbon OEM Style Hood Air Duct

Overall we rate these inserts a 9.9 out of 10 because of the beautiful quality and careful craftsmanship that have been placed into the product. Given the price of a whopping $599 no room has been spared for error.

What it means to be a retailer online

Today we’re going to talk about a few things that separate very good well informed websites versus unsecure harmful and possibly fraudulent websites. I hope that this post will help you make a proper decision on whether or not to purchase an item from any particular store. First off we all have to realize that this is the aftermarket product world, and if we intend to beef up our automobiles then we will have to make some type of purchase online. Because as we all know they don’t always sell products for our Subaru, Honda, Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, Scion at Wal-Mart that we want! So it is up to us to find the right route and the right product online. Buying online doesn’t sound so tricky however if you get stuck buying a part which you think that you’ve got a great deal on you might also be stuck if something goes wrong with it. We all have to be recognized as equal citizens and do our proper research before clicking that final purchase.

Up front the first thing that you as a consumer can do to protect yourself is find out a little bit about the business before you make your purchase, I always tell people who would like to make a purchase online to please watch out and purchase at secure sites. What does it mean to be secure? Well it means just about everything, I don’t want my credit card to be stolen and sold on some sort of black-market website and my good credit to be ruined by some goon sticking his nose around in places that are exposed. I don’t want my wife to try and address if I know that a store manager is watching her, this is how you should approach purchasing online. Make sure the site is secure most sites in 2010 will be PCI compliant which means that they will have to go to great length to protect the security of their customers and their credit cards. So if you want to purchase that beautiful hood make sure the website that you’re using has undergone some sort of PCI compliance. For the most part you should see the security symbol during checkout (usually the symbol is a locked lock)

Next I would like to get into what it means to be a legitimate business rather than someone who’s looking to make very minimum and give you the very minimum. These are the sites that list products for unbelievable prices, that are just so unreal and destroy the competition. These websites are what you need to stay away from. I do not mean to say that and come off as a quote unquote hater to those type of businesses, but you will easily find that those websites are not very helpful and will just as easily your money up as they do spend it before you’re able to retrieve a dime of it. These companies also do the bare minimum, and they never will go above and beyond so don’t ever expect them to. They will never admit when they are wrong, then they will stick you with every single last penny if you’re returning the product (if they even take returns). The biggest role that I have here is that you look for one thing you look to see if they are BBB accredited. Most online stores that sell body kits, hoods, fenders, headlights, tail lights, performance parts and accessories are not BBB accredited. What does this mean? It means that they are not backed by the Better Business Bureau, and usually have a score rating of an F. or below. There are few sites who are BBB accredited to sell aftermarket parts and accessories one off the top of my head is http://www.viniati.com which as of today has a rating of a B. plus. These are the sites that you need to be ordering from, sites like eBay can give you the best deals out there and a lot of people are making a lot of good money selling on eBay and micro sites that do not carry the BBB accreditation. Not all of these people selling are bad, however you do not guarantee yourself a proper resolution if something does go bad. If you are dealing with a BBB accredited business you will know that your problem will be strictly addressed if something bad were to happen, and in the aftermarket parts and accessories world each item and each sale is roughly around the price range of $200. At that price it is good to have a little insurance.

To find out if a business or the business day you will be purchasing from his BBB accredited please find out at http://www.bbb.org/

This is a pretty rough look at purchasing aftermarket parts and accessories online, and it is a very simple one for a good reason. I don’t want you to just look at this and just skim through it and babble on about this that and the other, however I do want to give you a sense of what it means to deal with a proper business and to purchase online. Now go forth and find the right site at the right price and make sure they are compliant and have the BBB accreditation!

 Just my two cents

99-04 VW JETTA 4 PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLACK R8 STYLE review

Okay, let’s go ahead and review this new product here. Photos are courtesy of  http://www.r8-headlights.com

99-04 VW JETTA 4 PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLACK R8 STYLE
99-04 VW JETTA 4 PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLACK R8 STYLE

these headlights are pretty cool, they allow for the buyer to grab a decent set of lights at a decent price. At the time of this review the lights as shown were $239.99 before shipping and handling. The Volkswagen is notoriously a European car that has taken over roads in the United States, now obviously there’s going to be plenty of these cars on the road to the price range and availability of them. But how are you going to set your car apart from the rest that is the main question. Well for the past several years people have been replaced in our taillights with the European-style taillights or they been replacement headlights with projector headlights. So we all beg to ask the question of what else is new to separate my vehicle from any other vehicle out there? Well recently Audi has released several new vehicles which are utilizing an LED lighting structure underneath the main headlights. Well this is very intriguing for people and will definitely add to the mystique of customers purchasing new Audi’s. So R8-Headlights.com said why not apply these new designs to a few of our non-Audi applications, and the aftermarket R8 style was born. So let’s look over the Volkswagen Jetta application, the first thing that we noticed right off the bat is that these lights are just wild looking. They seem to be very simple when looking directly at them if you did not know that they were aftermarket you probably could not tell other than the fact that they have a black backing. The lights are well made and do look very simple to say the least.

The biggest and main difference you are going to notice with these headlights are that the projectors are extremely effective at nighttime, giving a superior being over your stock Jetta lights. The second thing is going to be the LED lighting underneath the headlights in the new R8 style. We like the way that these lights look and overall I would say for the price you’re getting exactly what you’re looking for.
Okay now onto the negatives, there is one main thing that I can see just from looking at the lights at night, and that is the LED lighting is a spaced a little too far apart from each other. This is not really noticeable from about 15 feet, but when you get up on the car you’re able to see that the lighting and space a little bit far apart from each other.
So that’s about it just keeping it real and just letting everybody know that these new R8 style lights are something to behold, and definitely a beautiful addition to the aftermarket lighting scene. We want to support one of our sponsors http://www.R8-headlights.com for setting us up with a set of lights to review. We hope this helps and once again happy shopping in the aftermarket world!

2009 Ford Mustang Body Kit Review

2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Mustang Stallion rear bumper

2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Mustang Stallion rear bumper

Today we will be reviewing the 2005 through 2009 Ford Mustang B.-Magic body kit the stallion style. This body kit is made by AIT racing in a high quality vinyl ester resin and finished in a glossy smooth gelcoat. Each body kit is handmade to order and will usually take up to 10 days for this manufacture to deliver the part. Now let’s take a look at a few photos courtesy of Bmagic racing.

2009 Mustang Body Kit

2009 Mustang Body Kit2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Mustang Stallion Front Bumper2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Mustang Stallion side skirts

if you can see by the body kit pictured the Mustang is now given a valued facelift. The aggressive chin and Grill support show that the Mustang can be a bit unrefined and have a look like no other. This Mustang body kit and all of its glory can show you how a body kit can change the complete look of a vehicle from a front bumper, to a rear bumper, to a set of side skirts.

The sets of side skirts in the picture can show you exactly how a simple set of side skirts can give off that aggressive feel. For us, besides Kurds are definitely not intricate in design, they are simple and somewhat protruding. However they do help to give the Mustang a wider look visually and that is never a bad thing. This allows you to purchase rims that fit all the way out to the wheel well.

We are not too impressed with their rear skirt bumper. It is very simple and dull and pushes out a bit for us. The average enthusiast can tell them not a lot of work went into the detail of this rear bumper. It simply scaffolds out, and the exhaust seems to be pushed in by the immense girth of the skirt. However like we said in the beginning that this kid is very simple in nature and by terms of body kits some people can tend to enjoy these looks. Seems that this body kit uses traces of other kits molded into the car, which allows for the customer to completely replace the rear bumper.

The front bumper of this car body kit seems to be the main attraction of this Mustang kit. If you are driving a stock Mustang at this point you’re going to want to start looking at upgrading your front bumper to separate you from the other bone stock mustangs that are all on the road. And that is what you will find with this bumper. It is very edgy and shows that the Mustang as well refined as a muscle car can be can have a little fun in its looks as well. Your turn signals will be able to mount into the bumper and the Grill has mounted fog lights placed in them. We are thoroughly impressed with this front bumper.

As for the fitting on this body kit we cannot be certain, we do see that it has dual exhaust which would mean either

  1. you will need to upgrade to dual exhaust
  2. or already own a GT

AIT usually has great fitment on their products, however this is a company who replicates other body kits also so you can really never be too careful when purchasing. We can however conclude that these body kits branded with B- magic have undergone several tests to maintain its name synonymous with its value. If you do have any reports or have any comments please feel free to post, we will be happy to add your comments.

Scion XB fog light review

Today we are going to review set of scion xB fog lights.

The Scion XB comes with many features however none of them include a set of fog lights, this set of fog or so we thought for the Scion XA are very up to date and they look great to. Fog lights do many things some of which include providing higher or better visibility during foggy settings such as driving through in the morning
